I am feeling spring in the air!! I have decided to plant some flowers. Christina gave me a mini greenhouse to plant your spring flowers now so they will be ready to plant by spring. I LOVE GARDENING!! I am very excited to start planting.
The only down side of spring is how my son comes home from school soaking wet and stinky everyday!!!

My crocuses bloomed a couple of weeks ago and they look amazing. I've got daffodils and tulips getting ready to bloom too. I'm so excited.
Unlike you, I have a "brown thumb". I will enjoy gardening by living vicariously through your stories! I have enough respect for plants to know that I shouldn't do it! Someone from Greenpeace would visit my house and accuse me of cruelty to plants!
As for stinky wet boots/coats, I can totally identify (only I have double impact with both boys!) I usually end up throwing everything in the laundry each night (not the kids...they get thrown into the shower). I can't hack the puke/poop thaw smell of spring. I think I like late April, early May better than late March. Too mucky!!!
I have to say, though...I can't complain about the warmer air!!!
