Almost done!!!

I cannot believe school is done tomorrow!! This was a very busy year and it went by very quickly. Now there were some nights of grade 7 math homework when I thought this year would never end...but now that we are here it seems to have flown by. Emily got her report card yesterday. She did well...passed to grade 8!! AHHHHHHH Noah gets his today.

No huge plans this summer. We are going camping this weekend. We took the Monday off to make it a 4 day weekend!! We are going with some friends. Should be fun. I am looking forward to relaxing!!
We have music camp in August and one more week off after that...not sure what we are doing that week yet.
That's it for now!

Spring

Life continues to be busy for the Gaus family. Both kids are playing soccer now. It is fun...but keeps us busy. Emily plays for 2 hours on Mondays and Noah plays 1.5 hours on Wednesdays. I will post some pictures of them soon.

Emily went on 3 trips this spring. The first was to Toronto with her band from school. The had a packed full 3 days going to places like: Playdium, Mother Tuckers, The Zoo, CN Tower, Medieval Times and Wonderland. They did play their instruments twice I think. She had a great time. It was pretty tough to put her on a bus and send her off for three days!!

The second trip was with the church YP Band. Rob and I went as chaperone's for this trip. We got to travel all the way to Toronto on a school bus. FUN!!!! My neck was a mess when I got back...the chiropractor is still trying to fix it!! But we had fun. We went to the CN Tower and hung out at the Eaton Center for awhile. No stress there...taking 50 kids to the Eaton Center in downtown Toronto!!!

Emily's 3rd trip was to Camp Arrowhead with the grade 7's. They spent 3 days boating, Kayaking, tubing, and may other sports. She participated in a talent night...she sang a solo. I was pretty impressed...you could not pay me to get up in front of a group and sing!! She also did Karaoke! She loves to sing!!

So...this has kept us busy through out the spring...packing Emily and unpacking Emily.

I am looking forward to summer for a few reasons...I am tired of making lunches and getting kids ready for school. It will be nice to have a more relaxed schedule. But with that relaxed schedule also means 4 more kids are here during the day! But that is ok...I have theme weeks planned an tons of crafts and activities. We are going to hit up a few parks that we normally don't get to. Should be fun!

Anyway...that's it for now!
