Lost

I have not talked a lot about Lost lately....but I am enjoying it more now then ever. Every episode is more exciting then the last. They are telling us more info and keeping things interesting. At least that is my opinion. Some people that I have talked too totally disagree..but I still love it!!!

We Lost

My Dad had bought 2 tickets to the Sens game last night against Boston. He unfortunately had to work late so he gave the tickets to me and Rob. I was very excited. I love going to Sens games. This one was not that exciting...we lost. We were also a little late and missed Healty's goal in the first minute of play!!! Oh well...at least it wasn't playoffs!!!!!!

This and That

-we watched a Leafs game the other day! Weird....but Buffalo came from being down 4-1 and won the game 5-4...GO BUFFALO!!!
-had our friends Robyn and Mike and Jaymie over for dinner Friday...had fun!!!
-Emily went to a sleepover Friday. She didn't go to bed until 3 am...can anyone say GRUMPY!!!!! She also fell and bruised her tailbone...ouch!!
-played Dutch Blitz with Jeff and Lisa on Saturday...I was winning (we had to end the game to go bowling with the church)
-at bowling I had my worst game ever (I think it was because they had the Leafs game on there and the leafs were winning) My first game I got 116 and my second game I only got 80!
-had a nice roast beef dinner at mom and dad's yesterday. We have decided to stop eating out for awhile...it is getting too expensive!
-back to work today...2 kids came with colds (sigh)

back to work

well, our holidays are over and we are all back to work and school today...well except for Noah who decided yesterday to get a fever and start throwing up...he will do anything o get out of going to school!! :)

the rest of our holidays went well. We had family come down for a few days...had a good time.

We ended off our fun with a Senators game on Saturday night. It wasn't the most exciting game but we won so that was good!!!!

We went to the Hersey Factory yesterday. I have lived here for a long time and I had never made it here before. They are closing the factory soon so a lot of the lines were not working. We did see them make Hersey Almond bars and O Henry bars but that was about it.

Do you know how hard it is to be at a chocolate factory when you gave up chocolate for Lent?????????? But I am proud to say that I did not eat any!! I bought some Reese Pieces instead!

We went to Lone Star for dinner we with mom and dad after. It was delicious!! After the kids went to bed we watched a pretty good episode of Lost. New info was given out. Next weeks looks good too!!

Rob's brother Dave and his wife Leanne and 2 kids are coming down today so I guess I better go and clean the house!!

been awhile

I know I know...it has been a long time since I have posted. My mom was not impressed with me!! We have been really busy. Here is a little of what we have been up to.

*we had our annual Sens vs. Leafs potluck on Saturday. The food was great...the company was great. THE GAME SUCKED!!!! We once again lost our lead in the third and the leafs beat us in overtime!!!!

*we played an awesome game of hide and seek at my parents house on Sunday...even mom and dad played!

*Rob and I are on holidays this week!!!!!!!!!

*To celebrate Emily's first day of March break...she had a cavity fixed!! Then we went swimming last night!

*This morning we went skating at Scotiabank place. (This is where the Sens play). I was hoping to run into Dany Heatly but (sigh) I didn't!!!

Busy weekend

I cannot believe it is Monday already...and I took Friday off too! I had 2 appointments on Friday...the first was with the allergist to do my yearly allergy testing. It looks like I still have 2 years of shots to go....every Thursday I go for a allergy shot!
My other test was with a specialist...I will not go into details on what they did for my test....let's just say it SUCKED!!!! But I got the results right away and everything is fine! (A big relief actually...I was a little worried).
Noah went to a sleepover party Friday night. We picked him up at 10 Sat. morning...and then he went to another friends at noon...popular kid!!
We had family bible study Sat night. Stephan did a great job!!
Sunday was it's usual busy day! We even added a youth service to the mix. Our new youth pastor made it a "spy" themed night. All the kids got right into it and had a great time. It was our most attended youth service too. I was impressed!
After the service we went to Steve and Christina's and had a great spaghetti dinner. It was awesome.
I am exhausted now!!! BUT...I only have 5 more work days and then I am on holidays for a week!!!!!!!!!!!
