Christmas Traditions

Our tree is up and the house is decorated. I LOVE this season. Everything is pretty. I really enjoy putting up decorations in the house. It always makes me think of past Christmas'. We have a few traditions that we do every year. The kids get to open one gift every Christams Eve and it is always jammies to wear to bed that night. Rob and I get new jammies too!! On Christams Day we always have birthday cake for Jesus as our dessert after turkey. Those are just a couple of ours. I was wondering what traditions you ahve woth your families? Let me know.

It's hard for us to come up with traditions, because we're never at home, and we're never in the same place two years in a row. Our tradition is bouncing back and forth between Windsor, Cambridge and Montreal so we can be with both of our families. It's a little crazy.

Here's our plan for this year. December 23rd - leave Windsor and drive to Cambridge. December 24th - fly from Toronto to Montreal. Spend December 24th - December 28th in Montreal. December 28th - fly back to Toronto. Spend December 28th - January 1st in Cambridge, returning to Windsor on the evening of the 1st. Nick is back to work on the second.

Doesn't that sound like a nice, relaxing holiday? Add to the mix the fact that Nick's birthday is on Christmas Eve, and you've got some fun times.

We do try to read Luke 2 together, but it's not always possible!
