I decided this year to plant a few seeds in my garden instead of just flowers. I did not get my hopes up for them to grow. Well, to my surprise they did grow and they are doing well. The only problem I am having is the squirrels are pulling them down to get the sunflower seeds out of them.

I'm very jealous. I tried planting sunflowers this year but they didn't grow. One of them was growing until we had the band barbecue in our backyard and then it got trampled.
