I thought I had made my mind up and had picked the colour of the cabinets in the first picture...but I have always really liked the colour in the second picture. I don't want to regret the decision...this is something that is not easy to change later!

Both are really beautiful and once you're in your new house I know you're going to love whatever you go with. It's hard to get other peoples' opinions on something like this because tastes vary so much from person to person. I personally like the bottom one better but they're both beautiful.
I see that you're reading "The Memory Keeper's Daughter". That's a really good one. Did you ever look into "We Need to Talk About Kevin" that I told you about at camp?
I think it depends on what color walls you will be having (and I think if I remember correctly you have to go with light walls, at least in the beginning?) With light walls I personally like the darker cupboard. I'm sure whatever you decide it will be beautiful in there!

we are still not sure. It is so tough. The kitchen is so important. We spend a lot of time in there!! I think I might be able to convince him to go my way!!!!
