I am very excited. A few of my favorite shows start this week.
I am excited to see Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. ER also starts this week. Some shows started last week like Prison Break and Survivor. I might check out Dancing with The Stars this week if I have time.
I am really disappointed that Lost will not be starting until February!!!
I know this looks like we watch a lot of tv...but we do spend time together and do other things as well...I promise.

getting older
I let Noah and one of the daycare children walk to school on their own today. I was kind of sad to realize the he is old enough to go to school without me. (sigh)
I was very proud of Emily last night. Rob had to work late and he is usually the one that helps with math homework. She said she needed help and had a bit of a meltdown. I had her sit with me and read over what she had to do. Whenever she had a question I pointed to where she could find the answer. She ended up doing all the work on her own and she got it right!! Good job Emily!!
Noah came home yesterday and pretty much told us the whole lesson the teacher taught in social studies. They are studying rocks and minerals. He LOVED it. He collected rocks at recess and talked all through dinner about his collection and what he had learnt today. Good job on the teachers part...he got their attention and they listened!!
Noah now wants a book to help hm study what kind of rocks he has found! Guess we are making a trip to chapters soon!

kids
Both kids have had a good first couple of days at school. They both like their teachers. Noah has Mr. Long (Emily had him for grade 5...we like him) and Emily has Mr. Koch. He seems very nice. She has been very keen so far...coming right home and doing homework or studying...she got French homework the first day and a math test the second day!! Noah is not as keen...but he really never has been. And in true Noah fashion he woke up at 5 this morning with a high fever and a rash on his chest and back!! 3rd day of school and he is already home sick...perfect!!
